i tend to view art as holistic and inseparable from life -
inspired to gain a better sense of awareness i've found painting
provides, at least, a fictional forum for the practice of
      comprehension
                                    forever curious,

Eric Wixon earned his BFA from Kent State University in 2001 and has since shown his
work at a diverse range of venues nationwide and overseas.  Taos Center for the Arts in
New Mexico, a private residence in Carlsbad, California, and the College of New Jersey for
their National Drawing Competition, to name a few.  He has done original art on shoes for
Sneaker Pimps (an international traveling exhibition that has been covered by Transworld,
MTV, Time, etc.) and On The Wall (a benefit art show in Portland, Oregon sponsored by
Vans to raise money for skateparks).  His work has also been used by companies like
Liquid Force for wakeboard and apparel graphics.  Whether it's public commissioned
murals in New Zealand or the bottom of a freind's surfboard in San Diego, Eric is always
making art.
